Countertop Replacement

Postby SplashyLady » April 3rd, 2017, 8:48 am

My 3227 had the old mauve formica countertop - maybe it looked cool in the 1980s, but not anymore!

Glass tile seems to fit the color scheme and looks a lot better, don't you think? I did the same thing in the head, and on the dining/settee table.

Nice job, tiles fit good.....question did the plate and rug come after the tile or before??? :approve:
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

The Captain (that's me) does the work; the Admiral chooses the colors and accessories! :-D

That is beautiful. I am going to redo the inside of our 1988 Carver Montego, as soon as, the outside is done. Love to see more pictures of what you have done.

That really looks great. Wonderful idea if I may say so.

Nice job John. On my bucket list too. The white Arborite tops are getting boring. Just can't make up my mind what I want to go with so I'm gonna have to sit down with a beer yet again and stare at them some more until I decide. :beergood:

Try EZ Faux Décor. Very easy to install. Many colors and options to choose from. Takes two people, do not let material touch itself. $75 dollars, 3ft X 12ft. About 20 minutes to install. Recommend plastic straight edge and utility knife. Currently install all new interior in 1987 3807 Carver. Headliners, bulkheads, flooring, and rebuilding all windows. Salon windows completed. All new weather striping, new plastic slide pads in bottom of tracks. Windows now move with one finger. Salon, galley, dinette and forward stateroom finished except for trim.
