'89 Santego 38 Fiberglass panel under rear platform

Postby JimN » December 2nd, 2022, 10:41 am

My friends have an '89 Santego and the thin panel under the platform came off. It was one big piece and had a wooden strip on the transom that was used to screw that part in place and the wood rotted, allowing the front to scoop water- that ripped it off and when they reversed, it tore up the wires for the lights I had installed.

I'm looking for info about a better material to use for a replacement but if someone in the Milwaukee-Chicago (or, along the East cost of Wisconsin) area has one of these panels, I might be interested.

Thanks, in advance.
