Taking the Kayaks out for a ride

Postby CaptBob » October 17th, 2016, 12:05 am

So we had a nice day down here in Middle Tennessee today, Warm, 84, no Humidity, and since we are past the "end of summer" holliday, very few people on the water, A few die hard skiers, fishermen (always out.... strange folk) and cruisers that have been waiting for these days.

We took the kayaks out for a ride. We never paddled them, we had good intentions, but mostly we just gave them a ride. Cruised up and down the river, About 15 or so miles up and then back, a side trip up a creek that I'd never been before, Apparently it just wore Elaine out, she had a unique way of enjoying the trip back. Engine drone and warm breezes put her out every time.

And then this evening, we had a great full moon. (something special about it being closer, it was big.
A good day.
