2001 350 Mariner Switches

Postby 650Guy » October 28th, 2017, 10:27 pm

I'm looking to replace all of the switches at the helm for things like the Nav Lights, Blowers, etc... Does anyone know where to purchase these? I now I can simply do aftermarket generic ones, but I really would like to get factory original ones. I even have the part numbers, but cannot locate them online. Anyone have a lead?

Great lakes skipper seems to have some over-run stuff, try their website, or maybe pop one out and see if there is a name and number on them you could use to search....other boat makers use the same stuff as well.Have you looked at Blue seas ?......... :beergood:

If you can't find the manufacturer stamped on the switch, contact Carver, they may have them in stock or can let you know who the manufacturer is. Carling is a pretty popular brand used by OEMs.

Does anyone know if you can replace the lights in the switches? My switches work, but some of them do not light up and some are a different color light. I would like them all to be the same.

I will start pulling apart the panel next month. I have indoor heated storage and this is one of my winter projects. Finding the original switches seems to be a bit challenging, I'm now thinking of building up all new switches. Kinda bums me out though as I really like the Carver ones. The Typical "rockers" seem to get torn up pretty fast.

Can you post a picture of the switches you're talking about?

I have seen some very nice upgrade jobs done on these panels, my switches are still ok but I can see that by the time they start breaking down, the panel itself will be in the same condition.....at that time I am thinking to redo the entire panel board and switches etc....until then we try to keep the sun off........ :beergood:

Sierra (Seastar) makes an aftermarket version. I've never had to deal with a faulty lamp but it looks like they have light modules that can be replaced. You should be able to order them at any marina or retailer like West Marine.
