Hello all:
I own a Carver C34, 2014. I carry spare fuel filters heading over to the Bahamas for a week. I hope I don't need them. I know how to replace them but I can't find my gas shut off valve? My C34 has the 5.7 Mercruisers, gas engines. Anyone would care to instruct me on where are they located? I know from the owner manual they are suposed to be on the top of the tank, but I don't see them anywhere? what exactly does it look like and where the heck are they?
thank you all anticipated

M. :-O

Welcome to the forum......cant say for sure with your particular boat, but just follow the fuel line back to the tank from the filter on the engine.....if it is like ours with the 6.2(which is pretty much the same as yours), there are no shutoffs in the feed line to the engine fuel filters, unless someone has added one.
If you are concerned about fuel flow when changing filters, the anti syphon valve at the tank if still there should take care of that....

Oh and to add, if and when you do change those filters, try to fill them with fuel most of the way before installing, you will just avoid any issues with the engine getting fuel right away....... :beergood:

Welcome aboard. Take a look at the top of the tank where the fuel line attaches. If you don't see mechanical valves, you may have electric valves instead that turn on when you run the engines.
