View the latest post Attachment(s) 356 Aft Cabin - factory window tint removal/replacement, removal of upholstered vertical window dividers

Hello,

The factory window tint on my front and side windows is flaking off in areas and needs to be replaced. To make it easier for the window tint people (and for a better quality job) I want to remove the vertical vinyl upholstered trim pieces as shown in the attached pictures.

The two on the front windows (first and third pictures) have two visible screws which when removed don't seem to loosen the trim pieces. The two side trim pieces on both port and starboard sides (second picture) have no visible fasteners or apparent ways to remove them.

Does anyone have experience removing these?

Thanks for any advice/guidance anyone may have.

View the latest post 3807 Exhaust

Hi all 3807 Captains,
I have a -89 3807 where the starboard engine is exremely loud. I think it may stem from a backfire?
Anyway, the noise comes from the exhaust chamber and it is rattling loudly.
I hear that there used to be a coversion kit for this purpose......
Does anyone have any information or installation instructions for this kit?
Does anyone have any advice on how to remedy this this problem?
I really don't want to cut a big hole in the boat from the outside to access the chamber.
Any thoughts on this matter would be much appreciated!
Lars

Was looking for a navigation solution for the PWC and came across this. Tried it out and must say wow!! There is an annual subscription based on how much info you want. Can be used for backup or a very easy way of setting up a route.

I am installing new bathroom sink faucets. I have the Quest to PEX adapters, if needed. Question, is why and how did QUEST piping get such a bad rap?

View the latest post Attachment(s) bad smell

I have a mid 80s 3207. There is a funky smell coming from the forward head in the cabinet. there is a gap between the back of the cabinet and the hull wall. the smell comes from there. If I spray some soapy bleachy water in that gap down the inside of the hull wall, where does it go?

View the latest post Attachment(s) Purpose of White Button above Ignition Key

There is a button above each of the ignition cylinders. What is it's purpose? On my boat - they buttons appear to do nothing. I had expected them to be a kill switch.
