Weather was “iffy” at beast, so instead of leaving Sunday, we left Saturday as it was pristine conditions. First leg which was 45 miles. Started at 3200, rpms, but was running at 170 or so due to Buzzards Bay warming up. Cut back to 2800 and now at 165ish. 14kts, We headed into New bedford Harbor under great conditions. The Side Sifter is something I cant understand why I waited so long to get!

Today we sit, as 20+ it winds, rain, foggy and 2’seas in the harbor. SO we relax.

Also attached are pictures of a friend of ours showing her Mariner who is bass! She had minimal room to get into her slip, but a Pro she was.! More as we progress.

[url][/url]Hi all, does anyone know what freon type is the default Ac unit. Installed on. Carver 325 1997. Is is R22 or R12.? Specifically the main cabin unit.

My vacuuflush has been cycling and then stayed on. Supposedly the duck bills were replaced about two years ago. I managed to get to the two on the inboard side of the pump, but the two between the pump assembly and the tank require the pump to be removed. This seems to require maintaining a one handed push up under the exhaust to get the screws off. I managed to get three of the four, but the fourth, besides being in a place that is impossible to see, is blocked by the pump motor. Anyone have any tricks?

I tried to go through the space by the generator, but I can't seem to get my body between the generator and the steps to get in that area. I've thought about trying to go through the vent where the blower ducts run, but that is on the side of the boat without a dock and seems too deep to reach that way anyway.

My suspicion is that the replaced duck bills were the two that are fairly easy to get to, and the others are going to be well overdue to be changed.

I just acquired a 1979 28' Santa Cruz that I will need to put on dry storage in the winters. Would any one have any suggestions on trailer size, make or model? If any one knows of a trailer that is for sale? The boat is in Maine.
Am I waisting my time with a trailer?

Does anyone out there have a Walter 2N prop puller that they would be willing to take a couple of measurements for me? Even a few pics with a ruler would be helpful.

I'm specifically looking for:
1. The bolt pattern dimensions (i.e. distance between bolt holes)
2. The bolt diameter

I contacted Walter Gear directly and spoke to the owner but he was less than helpful. The first day I was told he would email over the specs. When that didn't happen and I called back, he told me he was too busy and didn't have time to pull a drawing and email it to me. Whatever....

Just hoping someone here might be able to help. I'm looking to use this for more than just pulling a prop which is why I need the dimensions

This just started this morning with the second main 12v DC breaker tripping. The amps appear to fluctuate but the lower 115 vac will sometimes drop to 0 and then back to 10 amps. I am attaching pictures of the panel. This is a 3607 88 Carver aft cabin cruiser. Any input would be greatly appreciated to resolve this problem.

I’m installing a NMEA 2000 network in the engine compartment. I would like to wire the NMEA power cable to the ignition system so when I start the port engine the NMEA power cable has power. Is there an ignition wire in the engine compartment that will meet this requirement? I don’t want to have to run a power wire from the ignition switch to the engine compartment.

Anyone done this?

Good day. Looking to replace the wipers. Look to be original as I have looked at other Rivs and they look the same. Challege is where to source them. Any help is appreciated
