Sometimes our engine won't turn over - no power getting to the starter. I think we've determined it's a faulty relay. I'm looking for a replacement, but getting the exact part number is impossible. How important is getting that number bang on, and what do the numbers mean? Pic attached.

I'm new to the boating world and I just bought a Carver. Unfortunately the boat didnt come with a manual. I did a preliminary search and any links do not seem to work. Does anyone have a manual? Thank you in the mean time!

My next question: I need to work on the boats engine before I put it in the water. It has twin crusader engines and i'm not sure where the water intake is to cool down the engine while I start it on land? A friend told me to get the little muffs - but i dont think that's right. Can anyone help? Thank you!

My mechanic is replacing the starboard shaft seal but can't get the old one off the shaft. I need some recommendations ASAP

Hello , we have a quote to fix moisture (high readings) and a small soft spot in bow area into seating area with fiberglass and some repair of rot . One option is from the suit below and the other removing fly bridge .


Fly bridge removal is more more expensive and traditional methods, however there are a couple opinions on the methods.

Any considerations on both methods and issues or experience ?

Hello All! Cooler is launched and floating. This will be the final chapter on Run Dry impeller test on the Crusaders. After some strange things, I did replace the run dry impellers with standard neoprene type. Engines primed like normal, run dry had issues with that. Engines ran at normal temp and were constant on temp, run dry always ran about 10 degress hotter and would constantly go up and down in 10 degree swings. The run dry impellers did look new when we removed them, so durability is good. For my money, standard impellers offer better comfort. My 20 mile cruise across Green Bay was in 65F temps and flat water. Great cruise and Cooler ran like a champ! In slip now, getting final set up for a great season! First season in a while when I did not have to worry about submerged ice chunks, YIPPEE! er
