View the latest post 4207 named "One Moore Toy"

Looking for anyone who might be familiar with the subject boat. I believe it spent quite some time in OK (2004 to 2021) and was trucked to Clear Lake, TX sometime in 2021.
Thanks,
Bob

View the latest post Attachment(s) Aft Cabin Beds On 360 Sport Sedan

Hi All,
My name is Larry and this is my first post (though likely not my last). I just purchased a 2003 360 sport sedan and am in middle of replacing all flooring. While removing carpet in aft cabin I noticed there was no separate piece for connecting the two single beds together. Does anyone have an idea where to get this or a pic of what it looks like so I can make myself.

Thanks!!

View the latest post Raw water system cleaner

I'm thinking to clean the heat exchangers on my 5.7 Crusaders. I saw a utube video that featured "Barnacle Buster" and, if it works, I'm game to give it a try. Do any of you skippers have experience with this or a similar kind of suck it up and soak it product ?

View the latest post Circuit breakers

Hello All. I'm new to this post but not new to boating. I have a 1989 Carver 3467. I have the manuals but they don't include a wiring diagram / schematic. I have been tracing wires to figure things out as they come up but it would be nice to know how they run in advance.
Thanks in advance.

View the latest post Carver C37 Minimum Power

A friend of mine is considering a Carver C37. I believe it is a 2015. Boat is equipped with 5.7L 300hp Mercruisers. Is this enough for this boat? Sounds maybe just adequate to me however hull design can make a big difference. Pretty sure this is the one. https://www.boattrader.com/boat/2015-ca ... 7-8462219/

View the latest post Attachment(s) -1987 Carver 4207 dual helm steering question

Hi fellow Carver's!
1987 Carver 4207 with dual helms.
Steering question... please see the picture.
1) Does the engine need to run to properly run the steering?
2) Is filling/topping off the fluid done here in the upper helm or elsewhere?
3) What kind of fluid?
4) Is that all there is to it,just top it off here above the wheel or do I need to go down to the rudders under the aft cabin bed?
Thanks in advance!![image][/image]

View the latest post 1991 Original Battery Setup (33 Aft Cabin)

I got this boat last fall and have been slowly tackeling the many need projects and have not had a chance to get around to the batteries. This past weekend the Generator wouldn't start or turn over so the first thing I will check when I get back to it is the battery. That being said I guess I will tackley this next.

Does anyone know what the original setup was from the factory? How many batteries and what was wired to what. I hoping someone knows to save me the time of chasing wires and with the chance it may have changed over the years. My house boat has a cranking battery for each egine and the generator. I replaced the old style charger with a modern 3 bank battery tender. It then has two house batteries that has a 12v powersupply/battery charger combo. I have been happy with this setup and I am thinking of doing something similar on the carver. I know there are two battery switched under the stairs coming into the boat, but I haven't even had time to see how many batteries it has (though it doens't look like their is room for 5 where they are located.

Any help is apppreciated before I start chaising wires.

View the latest post Tech needed..Ft. Lauderdale...Maxwell 800 tech

Windlass...Maxwell 800..
Perhaps...one of you reading this in the Ft. Lauderdale area has experience and knowledge on the Maxwell 800 winch or know of someone...
Paying for help of course.
Posted on various sites to no avail so far.
Hired one tech and...disaster. Didn't know what he was doing and created more problems. That tech was....me! Not going to hire him again!
Problem? Winch is turning...in and out but not grabbing the line. Replaced the rode and anchor..fed the line back in...loosened the clutch plate per instructions and manually fed the line in about 4 feet...retightened the cap...snug...now won't pull the rode. Tighten the cap a bit more...spins fine otherwise.
Search on Google says...probably a sheer pin...remove the cap and replace the brass pin. Not going to try...rather pay and learn...
So again..if you're in the area and can help out..money paid...appreciate it or know of a tech.
Enjoy your day!
