View the latest post New member here. Hello all from the west coast of Florida

Hello all!
1997 355 Aft cabin. 7.4 engines.
Gas hog....ouch! Of course....one doesn't buy a boat and worry about fuel!
It's about enjoyment. :captain:
Surprisingly, vessel is in very good condition given its age.
Previous one owner sure seemed meticulous.
Sea trials went fine. Guages stayed pretty much the same on both engines underway. Kept it at the 2500~2800 RPM range.
Few minor cosmetic issues but nothing serious.
Question....AC...label reads...turn on shower pump when using AC/shower. What is the correlation between the AC and using the shower? AC is cooled via raw water. Shower is fresh water.
And...I couldn't locate the AC filter...if their is one. Thinking...replace a AC filter as needed....
Feel free to offer whatever suggestions to this newbie.
Any 355 Owners on the west Florida coast...Tampa south to the Keys...

View the latest post 396 "wing" door

Not sure if I got the nomenclature right. I left my wing door open over night and it hit the dock upright bracing and either floated away or sank. Looking for a new one. Port side. I can find the hardware in the parts book but not the door itself. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

View the latest post Attachment(s) Where to get Onan generator impeller?

I have an Onan 10kw generator, model MDKWB, series E, and am trying to find a raw water impeller.

Based on a manual I found online it looks like the impeller part number is 132-0310, but I am not 100% sure of that. In addition, when I search for that part number I get almost no results. In fact the only place I see coming up is from an ebay store where the impeller is being shipped from China. :-(

If anyone has the same generator, can you confirm the part number for the impeller and also provide any suggestions on where to purchase?

Thanks in advance!

Kyle

View the latest post 1997 350 Mariner Interior Upgrades

Hi Everyone,

I just joined this group as I recently bought a 1997 350 Mariner and I'm looking for any and all resources to update the interior and the helm to a more modern experience. Everything on it is in great condition, but I would like to modernize the toilet with a better system, as well as the helm needs more advanced equipment.

I'm also looking to update the exterior carpeting at the helm, steps and swim platform.

Thanks so much for any suggestions and links!

Cheers!
Kevin

View the latest post 466 fuel vent hose 2001

It seems as if the fuel vent hose is leaking, but I can’t get over to it, is there any access in the salon to the vent hose or fuel fill hose on the starboard side. Filled up yesterday ran for about 5 hours and at the marina noticed fuel dripping from either the vent or fill hose. Took fill cap off and there was some pressure in the tank. Other than the pressure how else could fuel leak from a hose above the tank? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

View the latest post Voyager 530 Pilot House Air Conditioner Access??

We have a 2000 Voyager 530 and our pilot house air conditioning is leaking condensation water which presents itself coming out from under the fridge in the galley. I assume that the condensation drip pan drain is plugged causing the overflow. The unit is under the stairs that lead from the pilot house to the fly bridge. The lower stairs are obviously designed for removal, but I cannot figure out if there is a release mechanism or screws that are holding the stairs in place.

Any guidance on how to release and remove these lower steps?
