42 MARINER 2004. VOLVO GAS ENGINES LOOKING TO PURCHASE 2 PROPS. ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN??

After 900 miles the transom is very dirty with soot. We rinsed it every night but it seems as if it is embedded in the gel coat. Tried simple green and a few other hull cleaners and no luck. Any one find a friendly chemical that will work. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Can anyone please help with the info on the 1994 carver 430 prop size? We cannot find the info in our owner manual. We need to replace the starboard side. Also if anyone knows the shaft size that would be super helpful.

My 88 carver 3607 comes with 4 batteries. One for engine starting one for generator starting and two large 4D house batteries. One is reading 13 volts the other 9. I have the switch in the closet to go from battery one to two to all. My norcold fridge works on shore power but very recently will not turn on from house batteries. The light is green and faint and pulses slightly which means it’s getting some power not enough to get cold
I have switched back and forth between batteries and set it to the “all” setting and still nothing. I am replacing the one 4d house battery tomorrow. Any suggestions on why fridge acts like it wants to work?

As a side not I read people watching tv and things off of house batteries. Mine power cabin lights water pump and used to be fridge. No plugs no tv obviously no ac. Is this normal ? Thanks for any thoughts.

A couple years ago, my forward vacu flush was running a lot. I replaced the bellows, pressure switch, and duck bills. Seems there were only 2 duck bills total, I added the adaptor to ensure there were the required 4, 2 on each side. Out of nowhere, the thing started going off every 3 or 4 minutes. MAy I add, we use the forward head for “liquids” not solids. The stern one works flawlessly and always has.

Where would you start<?? check the bellows? replace duck bills again? That pressure switch was pretty expensive if I may add. New O ring etc.

Again, asking for thoughts.

Just thought it might be useful to give some feedback on our new Starlink setup.

We've been anchored out with our friends at Hunter Bay, which is on the west side of Lopez Island in Washington State. Normally limited cell coverage with no wifi access other than a T-Mobile or AT&T hot spot.

So far, the 2 boats with 4 adults, and 2 teenagers have had sensational results. Lots of teenager social media nonsense and adults tracking fixes for various projects and issues! We've had a range of 60-100 mb download speed available since we anchored yesterday.

Power draw is something to consider at anchor but more so on setup while the "dishy" aquires location etc.
