I have a 2003 Carver 444 with Volvo TAMD 63P A engines. The engine have 1400 hours on them the best I am able to come up with since the previous owner kept poor records. The Stbd engine starts and idles at 683 while the Port engine starts and idles at 585. I was told the only way to adjust the idle was electronically, but this boat has the KE-4 system and I can clearly see the idle adjustment bolt on both engines. Is this something I need to be concerned about and adjust the idle rpms or is this common on this boat?

I am seen questions & answers regarding where this switch is to turn on and off. We have looked inside the storage cabinet next to the salon doors and there is no push button or switch inside. We have no switch located inside the doors. Can anyone give us ideas on where this might be located? Any help would greatly be appreicated.

I just purchased a 2004 Carver Mariner 420, and have been unable to locate the Sea strainer for the AC unit. Any clues would be appreciated (I’ve looked all over)

We have 2 potable water tanks on this boat, however when I fill it up only one tank fills. Ant ideas on how to fill the second tank?

My AC #2 on a Carver 355 keeps tripping the breaker switch. Does anyone know how to replace the breaker? Looks easy but not completely sure.

We just put our 2007 Carver 42 Super Sport back in the water and the head pump is running (the head tanks are empty). Any suggestions on how to get it to turn off. We turned the breaker off so it won’t burn out.

I accidentally locked the master stateroom head while I was cleaning and then shut the door. Any idea on how to unlock it from the outside? We have a 2007 Carver Super Sport.

They both have 1961 hours, low use, very lightly used, old man owned.

Hi,

In the process of buying a 530.

I am sure I will have a lot of question over time, glad there is a place to ask!

My first is what size tender are people using? Trying to determine what fits well up top. I have two big goldens (Liked the boat because it is easy for dogs to get to all parts of the boat), so the bigger the better but would like to get some input on what works well as far as size for others.
