View the latest post Attachment(s) Data link connector location

Hi, I have the chance to use a Mercruiser computer to check one of my engines for a few days but I can't locate the right connector on the engine. The only connector I found is near the distributor and it doesn't match the Mercruiser connector.
first photo is the Mercruiser adaptor and 2nd and 3rd are from my engine
I own a 2000 350 Mariner with 7.4 mpi
Thanks in advance for any help.

View the latest post Carver 396 - How to remove aft cabin night stand

I want to get access to the area around and under the right side (near engines) night stand and wonder if anyone has pics or instructions on how to remove that night stand? I've removed the main salon a/c cabinet several times over the years and it just lifts off the wall mounted wooden cleat. Not sure how to go about removing the nightstands and don't want to just start yanking away. Also, getting a bit too old to be laying on the floor and looking around inside of it for fasteners, etc., so hoping it's similar to the salon lift-off cabinet.

Appreciate the help! Thanks!

View the latest post Secret breaker?

Looking for location of any secret breakers on Carver 3007 - 2 primary panels show no signs of scorching post scenario below;

in the midst of hunting down why generator wasn't pulling water I started Generator without shutting down main breaker and also didn't disconnect shore power at point of starting generator. At which point panels tripped. A couple of small receptacle items on port side would come up but at moment of switching on range that load tripped whole system and starboard side never came up. All outside power and lines accessed and operational.

Hello! New to the forum. I am inheriting a Carver which my grandfather has restored. Please forgive my lack of in-depth boating knowledge of the boat as this is actually my first boat. I am looking for information on this boat. It is titled as 1970 Carver Holiday with a Mercruiser sterndrive. I have found very little info it, and curious to learn more about them.

View the latest post Carver 405/406 question

My wife and I are considering upgrading our 3807 to bit larger boat with diesels and different layout. We’ve looked at several brands and keep going back to a 405 or 406. We’ve only been on one and she says she remembers me having to duck down in the bedrooms and heads. I’m 6’2 and don’t remember that. As with most wives, her recollection is much keener than mine, but I wanted to get the right answer from folks who may own one. Can a 6’2” person stand up in those areas?
Thanks in advance (and I’m counting on ya’ll)
Vic
