Hello everyone. Recently purchased a 3027 Flybridge and love it. I moved it a couple weeks ago and lost port motor coming down due to bad fuel. Made it fortunately without tow. Had the bottom looked at this morning and was told my port rudder is missing. Well this is a problem. Found a company in fort lauderdale that has rudders but need dimensions. Anyone know what they are for the year. Or where to get one. Has twin crusaders. If that matters

Neglected fresh water system froze, so will be needing new 40 gallon tank ( and probably much more ).

When my boat was in storage this year the Marina shored it very bow high which is not how my 350 usually sits. Before she was shrink wrapped I had water coming in at the rear of the salon by the coach and wetting the rear fuse panel compartment. I looked everywhere for the source of this leak so that I can stop it. Has anyone had the same issue or any idea where it may be coming from?

One of the 'to dos' since effectively losing six months of maintenance time is sorting out the various chromed fittings on my 2827; this is the sort of thing which has happened (over the years, doubtless) to various fittings, including throttle controls:

That's the soap dish from the forward cabin; chrome on aluminium, or steel, has flaked and separated. I'm going to take my hand-drill with a wire brush to it, and probably paint it or something, but before I do, wonder whether this is a common thing, commonly resolved. Throttle controls are notoriously pricey.

Here's the Question: is it possible - and worth the time and expense - to try to repair and polish up these items, or just dump them and buy new? If there's a quick, relatively easy way of fixing the issue, I'd rather not spend my pension on expensive replacements. It's whisky money, after all.

My two 8-D batteries need changing on my 4207 carver, 1988. I plan to add four 100 watt solar panels, maybe more? Is there a newer, better battery style/type, and preferably lighter weight battery, I can replace them with?
