View the latest post Attachment(s) MANY projects finished up

BIUSY weekend! I had a few lose ends to finish up, I replaced the fresh water pump with a new Johnson, no more surge. I also got the EDECOA 2500W/5000W inverter installed. Since it was a bit wider that the one I had, I had to move it to the other side of the salon stairs. It is hooked to the house bank, with a 150A breaker. I tried it, and I will say, with the 1100W Coffeemaker it went from 100% to 91% in the time it took to brew. I am looking for a smaller coffeemaker for when we are on the hook. I also got rid of the original sound system, you know, AM/FM, Cassette, CD player. Replaced it with a BOSS 240W gauge style unit with Bluetooth. All that is left is to install the redbud kit for the forward Vacuflush head.

View the latest post Prop Selectiion

I have a 1994 390 CPMY with 7.4 carb Big Blocks. The props are 22 x 22, and that is what is on the build sheet. I can hit 4000 rpm under ideal conditions, and it is not standouts, but has to build, and top speed of 29MPH. Not too shabby for a boat of this size. However, should I be hitting a higher rpm? I was wondering about maybe moving to a 22 x 21? GPH full throttle is approx 66 GPH. At 3200 I am kicking 42 GPH. Any input?

View the latest post Sanitation Hose

I am starting to get a slight odour on board, nothing major and unnoticeable when you are in the boat. This odour is upon entering the boat when arriving, definitely permeated or should I say starting to permeate sanitation hose.

Boat is going on 13 now so it is about time to swap some hoses while it is still not an issue. Problem is there is probably 80 feet of this stuff snaked in the worst places imaginable and probably installed before the boat was put together so ease of installation is top priority.

I did a bunch of research and for ease of installation and bending radius not to mention 10 year warranty on permeation, I am going for Raritan Sani-Flex. Happens to be on sale now @ Defender. My regular Canadian supplier wants $37 CDN/ft. :-O West Marine $19 US/ft, Defender is under $9 US/ft.

Anyone ever work with Sani-Flex and your thoughts before I dish out about $1000 in freakin hose. https://www.defender.com/product.jsp?id=3057989

View the latest post MarinAire AC Unit Swap

Never did post a pic of the MarinAire unit swap. Out with the old, in with the new. :-D Took me about 4hrs to do with lots of thought and prep work prior. Original Marine Air was noisy, inefficient and just not as cold as the newer units out there, MarinAire took care of all those issues.

View the latest post New to Carver and Power!

Hello all!
My wife Linda and I just made the switch from sailing a 1987 Freedom 30 Sloop, to a 1996 Carver 325 aft cabin. Over the past three weeks we have been busy making it our own, and planning and implementing upgrades. I am still amazed at the increased interior space over the sailboat! Our homeport is Manitowoc, WI., the state were these amazing boats are manufactured!
Stand by for questions!

View the latest post Starport Marina Ontario

We stayed at Starport Marina several years back and purchased some Govino glasses with the Starport name and logo on them. We have either broken or lost most of them and are down to 1. My wife asked me to buy more so I ask of forum members as I know there is a least 1 who has his boat there. If these are still available with the logo, can you pick up 8 of them and ship to me? Will pay in advance obviously.

We have tried their site but to no avail. Happy wife, happy life. :help:

View the latest post 3207 Cruise Speed

Calling all 3207 owners.

What speed do you cruise at? I’ve got a 1991 with Crusader 270’s. I’ve been going wide open throttle to get in plane and then pulling back the throttle to around 16 mph.

What do you like and what has given you decent fuel economy?

The pump is pumping out water and it is making noise there is just no cold air being blown out of the vents. Please help me as I don’t know what the issue could be. One of the air conditioning control panels is reading CLF.
