View the latest post Fuel Selector Switch issue

In our '95 355 ACMY, we have three tanks, starboard, port and aux. We understand how they work, each engine can pull/return from their respective tank or the aux tank, no issue there. Starboard side is working as it should however, we are having an issue with our port side.

When port fuel selector switch is set to supply and return to/from aux, we have noticed the port side does not actual supply from aux however does return fuel to aux.Essentially transferring port tank fuel to aux tank.

So question is... What could be preventing the port engine not to pull fuel from the aux tank? We have replaced the port supply switch(switch only) this season but didn't resolve the issue.

Fuel lines have been traced and appears to all be connected as should. We have found one line from the aux tank with a spark plug plugging it  not entirely sure what this line is used for and why it was plugged in this fashion. All fuel filters replaced.

Any suggestions on what the issue could be?

Thank you,
Wifey

View the latest post Hatch Screens

When we acquired our 2001 350 Mariner the 2 hatch screens were absent. We are anchoring out more now and it would be nice have them open overnight for ventilation. Any tips on replacement or DIY solutions would be welcome.

Thanks
Fraser

View the latest post shower question

I have an 85 santa cruz. I have all of the faucets working good with pressure pump keeping up very well. My problem is the shower. There is no water to the shower. there is a shower pump switch on the vanity that does not do anything. Does the shower use the normal pressure pump like the sinks? what exactly does the pump switch do? I am figuring things out but not this one yet.

View the latest post New Member Hello

Hello everyone, I picked up an 85 santa cruz that I am bringing back to its formal glory. You may see me post a lot in the future. I have been running boats my whole life and run multiple outboards, inboards and tow boats for my work but this is the first boat I have ever personally owned. Thanks in advance for any help

View the latest post Intake Manifolds 454ci

Hello all! I have twin 454's on my '86 4207. Are the Edelbrock Performer intake manifolds factory stock on them? I have to replace both of them due to corrosion holes by the water temp. sending units.
Thanks!

View the latest post Trim

Who can tell me how they get their trim to work on their boat? Can't tell if mine are working. Also what might be causing me not to be able to get the engines to get above 2,000 rpm? At least thats what the tach is saying anyway.

View the latest post A Boating Mini Vacation

I traded work days with one of my co-workers so I could get 4 days off in a row. I planned to participate in 2 of my boating clubs activities.

The first one was on Wednesday something we call a Midnight Rendezvous. How this came to be was like this. Back when we were all still working at Ford we worked the afternoon shift. We got off work at 11:30 PM. We all would head to our boats and we would meet up at a rendezvous location picked by one of us. We usually met up shortly after midnight and would spend the whole night until sunup the following morning. We always had a pretty good time. When a couple of us joined the boat club we decided to bring this activity to our club the year I was Commodore, 2004. That particular year we had a 27 boat raft that lasted from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon. Several other boats popped in and out over that weekend.

Many trips start out with a stop at the fuel dock. Here I put in $100 worth of gas. I am still running on last seasons fuel and I wanted to put in some fresh gasoline. By the end of this trip all that old fuel will be gone.

The Sugar Island cut. On the west side of Sugar Island there is a rather long no wake zone. On the east side of the island the zone is much shorter. Because the opening between the island and the cross-dike is so narrow there is a strong current there. All the ripples in the water ahead of me are because of the current. I had to add throttle to maintain control of the boat and make headway.

Dunbar And Sullivan, the anchorage where we were going to spend the night. During the week it can be somewhat empty but weekends are definitely busy. Water temperature there was about 75* so I definitely jumped in to cool off.

Thursday morning dawned kind of cloudy and hazy. About 10 AM I left the anchorage and headed upriver. I throttled up to 1600 RPM about 7 MPH as I was going against both the current and the wind.

The rest of the boat club arrives on Friday. If everyone shows up we will have 17 boats here. A fun time awaits.
