View the latest post Water Supply Access from Cabin to Flybridge?

Hello
I have a Carver 350 Mariner 2001. Does anyone know how to get physical access to water supply tubing going from the water pump up to the sink in the flybridge? I can only get access up until behind the cabin sink, no visibility/access to going vertical. Trying to get access to the tubes going vertical to that sink. Appears I have a lead on the water supply to that sink.

Many thanks in advance

View the latest post Attachment(s) No Power to Port Ignition Switch

Great to be on here with fellow Carver owner. I'm in a small town, big lake. I would be completely on my own if it wasn't for this great forum. Anyway:
I have a 2007 45CMY. I've only owned it for 2 year now. First year no issues, just recently though I have no power to my ignition for my port engine. I have Volvo Diesel D6 engines. I have checked the following, batteries, swapped ignition with starboard engine, voltage to ignition. neutral switch on shifters is good, shifters are in neutral.. Battery is good, on the red wire coming into the ignition I'm 2.3v, on the good ignition I get 12v. When I turn on the bad (port) ignition, even to just the run position, nothing powers on. I have EVC displays and they should at least power on and of course when I turn it to start absolutely nothing happens. Been troubleshooting this for a week now, very frustrating. Any help greatly appreciated!

We're so sad to be lisiting our boat, I recently took a new job in Kansas City and we'll be leaving the Sturgeon Bay area. The boat is clean, well maintained and stored in heated buildings at Quarterdeck Marina in Sturgeon Bay WI. Twin Crusader 7.4L 454 XLI's (600hrs). Also has a Kohler 6.5CZ with 45 hours, runs like a champ! Asking $76,995

Greetings all and thanks for the welcome! We live on Fowl River on the west coast of mobile Bay AL. I sold our 315 Chris Craft Commander about four years ago . We loved that old boat and had it for 15 years . I bought a Carolina Classic 25 Last year but my wife and the rest of the clan just dont get it . Best ridding boat i have ever been in . But its gotta go . An old friend of mine asked me if i would ride too the east side of Pcola Fl. to run his new to him boat home . When I stepped foot on this old girl it was like going back to 1987. She is virgin new . 1987 2757. Been kept inside by the first and only owner . At first every feather I have stood up and red flags were waving . She had about 50 gals of 1 year old fuel but it smelled fine so we topped her off . Thanks again to Macs Marine in Pensacola for having her up and ready . After a good warm up she idled great and sounded good . We shoved off and I had past visions of bringing old boats home . And did You know its kinda hot out?
After a little shake down I put er in the wind and off we go . About 20 mins. on plane we all know thats the go or no go part of the trip . She ran perfect and never missed a lick . It is powered by the famous 470 series merc, 180s . I had a pair in a 27 Sea Ray Amberjack and got to know them pretty good . Actually a very good powerplant made for marine use instead of a car motor. Any way after we left the ICW going west into mobile bay i let her run . This old girl never missed a lick . 88 miles with zero issues. Thats a first for this old dog. When we tied her up to my dock Mr. Jim said she might be a hand full for him. He is 74 and having a knee replaced. Well you can guess the rest . I bought it and never had to leave my dock . I know that by todays standards this old gal might not be what some desire but thats just fine . Im 66 years old and own a successful Honda and Acura service facility in Mobile Al and have been there for over 30 years, so life is good .
As far as the boat Im pretty sure this will be the last one . Its in the water at my dock in fresh water but will be in a lift there soon . We are really looking forward to fall and the beginning of our boating season .
Thanks again and looking forward to hearing from this great group of like minded enthusiast

View the latest post -1987 Carver 4207 Shower head replacement?

Hello all!
Ok, so we just got back from a great weekend on the boat and forgot to bring the shower head(s) with us to see what 'size' they are.
Both shower faucets work well, both lines from faucets to heads are good but we'd like to just replace the head and as you all know, the current heads come with that handy little "hook onto the other thingy on the shower wall holder"
Therefore, we're wondering if the current 'male' connection that does indeed have that 'eyelet' to hook onto the wall, is a standard size?
Meaning, if we JUST purchased a new shower head, can we just unscrew the old one and screw on the new one onto the same, factory setup?
Thanks in advance!

View the latest post Attachment(s) Grab handles for boarding

I'm looking for replacement handles for our 350 Mariner. The old ones have become kind of shabby and need replacing. They are a vinyl material with hole to hole mounting of approximately 7 and 14/16 inches and overall length of 10 and 1/16 in.
Does anyone know if they are still available?

Hello Everyone,

Wife and I are long-time Sea Ray boat owners that just bought our first Carver. Love the boat and know I will have questions about the things that are new to me, like VolvoPenta 8.1 Gi and Kohler 7.3e generator. Look forward to meeting other Carver owners.

View the latest post Attachment(s) Kohler 7.3e Generator Exhaust

I am new to Carver boats and have a rookie question. Does the Kohler 7.3e generator's exhaust exit underwater or out a port side opening. I just purchased the boat and had not used the generator until we lost power at our yacht club Saturday evening. After checking the thru-hull seacock and strainer, I started the generator and expected to see water exiting an exhaust port, but there was no water, so I shutdown generator. Today I checked strainer again and the impeller. Both were good. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

View the latest post Frost In Fridge

How often do you guys need to defrost your fridge? Ours seems to last about 6 weeks or so and becomes due. When I say due, I am talking about 1/2" thick in the worst area. The fridge is packed pretty tight all season long so maybe normal to frost up more? All the seals seem to be fine but the frequency seems too frequent if you ask me. The fridge on the bridge lasts all summer however there are only drinks in that one and does not get opened for very long and not that frequently.
