I used to own a 1974 F44 Trojan MotorYacht but had a Brain Tumor Jan 2011 removed and had to sell her.


Last year we bought a 79' Carver 28 Mariner that we have almost finished restoring. It was stuck in 1979, BAD! Now it's updated and cleaned and fixed up.


We presently have it for sale to try to move up to a Carver 3207 Aft Cabin.

Hello, I need to replace a cover on the lights that are down below in the salon on my newly acquired 2005 model 396. Does anybody know if just the cover is replaceable or do I need to purchase the whole assembly? If so any leads on where to buy them? Thanks

I have a Kariba washer / dryer combo on my '89 Carver 4207. It takes 2 hours to dry most loads. Is this normal? I'm in Southern Calif with pretty dry climate even on the water. Any ideas? Is Kariba still in business?

Was curious as to what engine oil people are using these days.I have a pair of 1987 small block Chevies and was using Kendall that had zinc in it but it is no longer made.

We want to put a new fridge in our boat. The Norcold DE 828 that's in there now shows specs with a cut out of 51 7/8". Any of the replacement models we're looking at (Norcold DE 0061, Vitfrigo 2600, Nova Kool RFU 9000 or 8220) all show a cut out of 52 7/8". Does anyone know if there is an inch of wiggle room on the 3207? I pulled out the old one last summer to try and clean behind it and check things out and, if I remember correctly, there isn't much room. I can't get to the boat right now because it's under 3' of snow. If I am going to be able to replace it, I'm going to need to order something fairly soon to get it to Northern Ontario in time for spring break up. Thanks for the help.

I own a 2005 Carver 460 Voyager. The guest head shower is leaking. we have traced it to the hot/cold water exchanger under the sink. Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement one? (picture attached)

I need to purchase some new fenders for my 42 Trawler. Any suggestions on best place to get a good deal on the internet.

My '87 Carver Aft Cabin (3807), had a U-Line ice maker that has long since been put out to pasture. I removed it, sent it in for an estimate to repair, only to learn it just wasn't worth it to repair. So, I priced a new U-line...HOLY COW! The least expensive ice maker seems to be the EdgeStar, but it gets horrific reviews. I then thought of just putting an ice chest in the space the ice maker left behind and simply fill it with bagged ice, but couldn't find anything to match those dimensions. Any thoughts or creative ideas for an ice maker or ice chest?

I'm planning on purchasing an 18" wide dishwasher for my Carver 4207. Anyone have any recommendations? Brands / models to avoid?

Anyone know where I can get Carver nameplates for my 1990 390 aft cabin?
