On my 99 Carver 406 I have a FireBoy CG2-475 Halon fire suppression system with a Test button at the helm. Press the test button and it blinks red and piezo horn makes noise. Hello. I am new to the forum. Wanted to offer a part that seems to be in high demand. I had a problem with the Volvo Penta QL Thruster relay box and found replacements online. Got the thrusters working and had one spare that I do not need. I upgraded the thrusters to Sleipner Thruster Controllers which was quite a project in itself. I have one aftermarket controller leftover.

My 36 Aft Cabin is going on a truck tomorrow for a ride from Michigan to Florida. I prepped it according to the transporter’s instructions, and left the boat. Driver saw my pictures and recommended removing the plastic panels that wrap around the aft deck below the rail.

I have a 2004 Carver 360 Sports Sedan -



I had divers cleaning the bottom of the Vessel and they said I needed a Bracket Replaced Near Trim Tab / Rudder



I have no idea what this part is called nor can I find it online. Does anyone have anyone had to replace these brackets and what are they called? Where can I get them or is it even possible.

I get an alarm from the electric shift throttle unit when powering up the bridge electronics. The alarm can be silenced by pressing the "select" button on the throttle mount but the LEDs for FWD, Neutral and REV continue to flash. The shift & throttles work but this is clearly not normal operation. Has anyone else experienced this?

It seems from my Google search that this may be a communication issue that can be related to the powering up sequence?

I have a 2004 396 with twin Crusader 8.1 mpi's. I think this would apply to other twin 8.1 boats as well. I'm starting the replacement of the dual tube oil coolers. The port engine has the cooler on the inboard side which makes this an annoying but possible job. The starboard engine has the cooler in the same position on the engine which means it's on the outboard side. I am trying to get a jump on the project and buy supplies before going to the boat to measure it out.

Purchasing a 2003 360SS in the next month, boat is in Quebec and being driven down Lake Champlain to it's home north of Burlington.
