transducers

Postby easyreble » February 5th, 2017, 3:13 pm

I bought a 1985 carver 3227 convertible, some one stole the depth finder cut the transducer cable. Can anyone tell me what came with the boat that fits these transducers. I don't need anything but a depth finder on lake. Does not have lower helm but the boat has two thru hull transducers. I assume one is for the bridge and one for the lower if you had one. I would like to know what came on the boat so i can attempt to find the OEM unit or find a replacement with out having to put new transducers in. Thanks

I believe you can find a transducer wiring diagram on the airmar site. You should be able to splice the wires and connect to almost any make depth finder, other than the new CHIRP, Sidescan etc. units. You will need a plug that connects to your display/ sending unit.
