Simrad CP40 Chartplotter Mounting Bracket

Postby GreatEscape2357 » July 23rd, 2018, 6:58 pm

Hello all I am looking to find out if anyone knows of a compatible bracket currently available for my CP40 chart plotter (such as a bracket for a current model that will fit) or maybe has one laying around that they would be willing to part with. I can not find any bracket online that says it’s compatible with this chartplotter.

Not sure what you are looking for, but search Ram Mounts....they have some solutions.
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

I checked out Ram mounts but it doesn’t look like they make any for the RL80C

Unit is quite old. Did some searching for you over the net but no luck. May need to make yourself a custom bracket. A short piece of anodized aluminum flat bar from Home Depot a little bending and a couple of nice stainless bolts with the proper thread should do the trick. ;-)

That’s what I was thinking, just thought I’d see if maybe someone had one laying around or new of a source online that had them thank you for your help
