That is so very true...just like a good set of speaker can make a cheap stereo sound good, and a cheap set of speakers can make a great stereo sound like crap, so it is true for an antenna.

Thanks for all the info. By the way, has anyone replaced the antenna cable on a 2000 396 AC and, if so, how hard was it to fish the cable. Also, any suggestions or short cuts you can recommend?
