Autopilot install question

Postby mikesparker » May 15th, 2021, 5:22 pm

Hello! This may not be the right forum for this particular question, but I've got a 1985 3227 with the Hynautic Reservalve. I purchased a used Simrad 2403VRF autopilot system that utilizes the RPU80 reversible pump. There are 5 connections on the reservalve itself...two in from the helm(s), two out to the cylinder and the one for the supply (or return) line. The manual isn't clear on which lines get attached (and where) to the 'new' RPU80, which has three connections. I'm thinking I'll have to incorporate some "T" fittings in there somewhere? The RPU80 will go between the reservalve and the cylinder, right (as opposed to between the helm(s) and the reservalve)? Help?
