320 Voyager a/c ducting

Postby SeattleMatt » July 11th, 2021, 6:49 pm

new to me Carver Voyager 320. The AC unit is located in the starboard side bench seat. However deducting that goes in the seat just goes from one side to the other and looks like it's factory installed that way everything's connected and clean with insulation around it. the AC unit itself has no ducting connected to it whatsoever. Does anyone with the Carver 320 have a similar setup that can send me a picture of how this is supposed to be? This doesn't seem right

Check out section 15.5, it is for a 96 but shows the lay out...

FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

Thank you, that diagram is helpful. However it only shows the general routing, not exactly how its' connected under the bench. still helpful

Just speculation, but it looks like someone disconnected the insulated duct from the a/c unit and added that aluminum duct for some reason.
Also, that a/c doesn't look like a factory install.
Does it have a drain line? Does it even run?

Good luck.
