They make critter ends for pvc pipe. Measure the inside diameter and see if one would fit right inside the exhaust itself and then silicone them in?

I would like to address the same thing, but boat is in already though, ( furry little devils are everywhere this year )......I wonder if you cut that to fit the opening with lets say a 1/2" lip around, you could fold over , push it in then two part epoxy in place with a bead over that lip....I have stuck transducers down with that , stuck props to hubs etc. What say you ??....... :beergood:
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

Boat is in water. Applying epoxy would require pulling boat. Cost is between $3 & 400. I am still thinking a shape cut to the exhaust port shape but over size would hold in place. I just don't know the force of water at WOT? Would it blow the screen out?

Are these round holes?

A neighbor takes Margarine containers that fit snugly, and puts them in the holes. He has a hole in the middle of the bottom with a line tied with a knot on that back side, so he can remove them.
Thanks

Brilliant idea! I've seen some that use small fenders to plug the exhaust too! Butter tubs a lot cheaper and u get to recycle.

WOW the damage they cause. Must be environmentalist. They don't like sink boats?

We have an issue with mink here in NY. They grab dinner and climb in the boats thru the vents for the bilge on the 355's & 356's. Man do they stink too. Worse than a skunk, not to mention the rotten dead fish they leave behind. We all had to have screen covers made so they can't get in that way anymore.

Wow, fingers crossed, but so far no such critter issues down here!
