Location for Seacock for toilet and air conditioner

Postby keeping it real » July 7th, 2018, 11:35 am

Hello everyone and thanks in advance for your help.. I am a proud new owner of a 1984 36 Mariner.
.My problem is I don't seem to be getting water to my vacuflush toilet and air conditioning heating unit. I would like to know if there is a separate Seacock for this and where it is located.

Welcome aboard
If it's a Vacuflush toilet, chances are it is hooked up to your on-board fresh water system. When you pressurize the system, it will allow water into the bowl when you operate the toilet. Not sure about your particular vintage but the pump, strainer and seacock for the AC is usually under the floor hatch before the galley.

Welcome to the forum....as a new boat owner the best advice I can give is get the hatches open and have a real good look around with a bright light to get familiar with things, you never know what previous people have done....good luck and have fun with your boat........ :beergood:
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.
