Does anyone have any specific guidance on how or where specifically to add an in-line charcoal filter? Should it be close to the outside or close to the tank etc.?
On this model closer to the tank is probably no good as it would be almost even with the top of the tank, one over full and it would plug the filter.
So as the vent line goes up to the vent itself, the vent line runs vertical, that is the spot to put it IMO. Remove the seat cushion next to the sink and the tub below it and crawl in there, have a look around , once you ID the vent line to the holding tank, it is easy ( double check you have the right line here ). I am assuming your 98 is the same as ours...........
