Swap out a 12K unit with a 16?

Do they give you an idea of hot the unit gets, I don't really know ?...the only thing I see by walling this unit in, would be that it is pulling very hot air from it's surroundings instead of the unit pulling only return air from the conditioned space....in effect making the unit inefficient to an extent.
The reason for bilge air may have been to cool the unit itself more than anything. I still think return air should only come from the conditioned space.....just seems right imo.
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.
