Carver 33/35/36ss head fill solenoid/valve??

Postby danclev » January 1st, 2022, 12:22 pm

Hey guys,
The head kept filling after flush, now won't stop filling. Checked switch, seems to be ok. Had to unhook the supply hose and plug it while I troubleshoot.

Has anyone had this issue or do you know/suspect the culprit? I can't find the solenoid/valve that controls the flow either.

Thanks!!
Dan

What brand/style of head? Fresh or sea water flush?

You never said what brand the toilet is.....anyway there is a solenoid controlled by the flush switch.....on some brands/installs the valve is located in the back of the toilet in the fresh water feed line....you will have to see behind, try a mirror and light.

Look on line for a parts schematic/manual for the brand toilet you have.....good luck man.
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

A quick update : the solenoid valve is located BEHIND THE REFRIGERATOR on the Carver 33/35/36 SS of all places. Took two people to slide it out and tip it forward enough to reach the valve. Sure enough there was a flake of plastic keeping the solenoid open. Cleared it out and good to go now. Here is a video of the instruction on how to open the valve and clean it out. Took 5 min once I got to it.
