Photos from fresh sanitation hose in aft stateroom (2004 444)

Postby SFBayJustin » September 29th, 2023, 12:10 am

Just thought I'd share. The existing hoses were clearly permeated & smelly. Decided I didn't need the overboard discharge, which eliminated another run & pump.

Stateroom now smells of fresh rubber, but 0% holding tank odor. Excellent!

Nice job and nice hose. Got to ask, how easy was it to insert the ends onto fittings with the Saniflex hose? I know this hose is very flexible but does the rubbery nature of it make for any difficulties when installing?

Interesting to see a Tank Saver on a tank that already has a 1-1/2" vent, extra precautions are always a good idea.

I think Carver started doing this as general practice later on since both my tanks look identical from the top including the tank saver and 1-1/2" vent line.
