44/444 AC control panel power light

Postby Huckleberry » March 29th, 2019, 1:44 am

On my Carver 2005 Carver 44 CPMY in the AC control panel , the shore power available lights are not lighting up .
Shore power is hooked up and everything is working fine EXCEPT the lights that should light up when shore power is on are not .
Any ideas ?
Huck

These lights tend to be on 24/7 when the boat is plugged into shore power. The bulb is probably burnt out. Not sure what you have in yours but do know Bayliner used neon tubes that needed to be soldered in place, a pita to change and find but doable. When you do find what you have please post back as I am sure many here have the same issue but just leave it or do not even realize it is burnt out.

i dont have you boat and i agree with the above response .however could they be reverse polarity indicators which would not come on unless there is a reverse polarity condition.

Those little indicator lights ( red and green ) if they are the same as ours are so dim they can only be seen dimly in the dark .....I need to replace ours as well I guess......
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

Easy to replace. Contact Carver and ask for spares. I've done it on mine twice...
