Solar Panels On A Cloudy Day

Postby Midnightsun » September 10th, 2020, 5:07 pm

So I checked the SOC meter to see what was happening. I have been without power for about 5 hours. I was actually quite surprised to see 10+ amps being input to the battery bank as it is really overcast today and has been like this since this morning. Pics don't lie. I am running dual 150W units in parallel FYI. Bottom line is solar is really a good investment on the boat.

Which panels did you use and where did you put them, hardtop? That would keep up with fridge demands and some!
