Helm Switch Panel

Postby feeez » May 14th, 2014, 1:58 pm

I am in the process of closing on a 2001 350 Mariner.

The switch panel on the right of the helm seat is in rough shape cosmetically. Would anyone know if there is a good after market supplier to retrofit this?

Here is a great trick you can do for cheap. Pull the panel and disconnect all the switches. Take it to your local sign writing shop and have them "wrap" the panel in a burled wood decal. It will look factory hen its done, and you can pop your switches back in. I did this with my last 2 boats. You may onlty be looking at $25 depending on the size of the panel.

Thanks Lyndon, Great idea and I love the price.
I have been at Starport many times, Looked at a 350 there last August, We have been at Trent Talbot near Beaverton with our previous boat. When we take delivery of the Carver we are headed to Beacon Bay at Penetang

Thanks

Glad I could help Fraser! That's what boards like this are good for. I haven't stayed at Beacon Bay in Penetang, and I have only been into the Trent Talbot by car as I work in the area. When are you closing on the Mariner and is it local?

We have completed the the deal on the Carver. It is currently at the Port of Whitby and will be trucked up to Crates at the Narrows shortly. They have to do some work on the boat before we take delivery.
We delivered our trade-in (2001 Celebrity 280s) on Saturday. A very rough and cold trip up Lake Simcoe I will not soon forget!!

Hey feeez, you have bought a great boat, we traded it in for a 41CMY, we had no issues with that Mariner, we were sad to see it leave Whitby, any questions about that boat just ask
