Can anyone help me figure out what the item circled in yellow is in my windlass (Seawolf 520) wiring? Thanks in advance for your help.

The orange wire that comes from the solenoid and then is connected to the spade terminals on the item in question - when it leaves the other side and goes uptowards the screw - what is on that side of the deck. Is there a foot pedal?
