Carpet 3607 Aft Cabin

Postby MakinTime » April 9th, 2017, 5:54 pm

Got the new Carpet installed today on our 1985 3607 aft cabin. Got the salon and aft cabin carpets installed by a friend who is a excellent carpet layer! Decided to do some cedar around the aft Bedroom to change things up a bit...still have to re upholster the bed sorround. Everything needs to go together yet but new carpet really freshens things up here are some pics.. -Tim

Looks good...what is that cedar you used......... :beergood:
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

Looks very clean and nice!! I haven't redone my carpet and it's been due in the salon for several years!!

Did you redo the walls and box openings? What is that wall covering?

Thanks guys...The carpet over the hatches is just cut to the edge like Carver did and it really hides the hatches well. Also hot glued the edges to prevent fraying. I did redo the walls as well and made the cubby openings more to the size I liked and was able to put the stereo and inverter display in the starboard cubby. I replaced the wallpaper with a little bit different style and built some additnal trim to jazz it up a bit!-Tim
