Mariner cockpit courtsey lights

Postby SanJuanDreamer » July 19th, 2017, 8:46 pm

On my Mariner 350 cockpit there are 4 courtesy lights.
Mine look worn, have you replaced them?
Interested in the size and share of the replacement lights...

I did all mine with LEDs a few years back. Much whiter light although the covers are a faded tan. I'll try to remember to pull one out and get you the specs.

I have been through a bunch of them trying to get a color that looks similar to incandescent. Most were too white or too bright or even greenish in color even though they were sold as "warm white". Finally found one that really works well. http://www.ebay.com/itm/10x-LED-Warm-Wh ... 4af666526b

On a side note, not sure what type of bulb your Carver uses but the standard on many boats is a light like this which is what I have. https://www.etrailer.com/RV-Lighting/Op ... 07765.html
