Swim Platform Boarding Platform Ideas?

Postby Sadey » October 6th, 2018, 11:05 am

Looking to make a boarding platform from the dock to my swim platform on my 356. Dock and platform almost even. I see aluminum ones for $1500 but figure I could make one for less. Doesn’t need to be aluminum.
Thank you for the help!

I have a 356 as well and keep the swim platform about 6-10 inches from the dock. No need for anything else.

Our dock has a 45 degree angle at the stern of the boat which prevents getting that close at the furthest aft stern. I would like to board at the stern straight from the dock not port or starboard side stern.
Thank you for the help!

Check out some pics of boats from Europe....seems they are stern in a lot and have all sorts of gang planks etc for boarding.....maybe you could get an idea from that if that is what you are looking for...... :beergood:
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.
