Transom Storage Box?

Postby warrantyvoider » January 6th, 2021, 11:15 am

Happy New Year.

I've long been looking for a transom/swim platform storage box. Thus far, I've been unable to find an aftermarket source for these. Does anybody have a suggestion?

What kind of boat and how large of a box?

Keep looking around and asking. I had a friend with a 356 take his off and sell it (I think to someone on this forum) because it was taking up too much room and was in the way of getting his dingy up on the platform.

You don't say what model boat but the answer will probably be that they were all custom made at carver and unless someone takes one off their boat you will be forced to purchase a standard type dock box and mount it. I know for a 405 like I have the oem box is not something you can just order . I'm glad mine has one but if it didn't theres no source except generic one

Call the guys at Marine Connection - they have a LOT of marine surplus boxes. If you are ever around Ft. Pierce - it's a cool place to just wander through. http://themarineconnection.net/
