Carver 444 access to port strut bolts

Postby Piggy3 » May 30th, 2023, 10:12 am

Hi group, I need to remove my port side prop shaft strut. There is access to the starboard side inside aft closet. There appears to be a hatch beside the aft bed under the step ? Is there an easy way to get to the hatch without having to cut the carpet ?
Thanks in advance

Which strut, big or small? There’s two on each side. You may be able to access big one from inside lazarete with an extension. If it’s a full removal carpet has to come up but can just be pulled back. Those little night stands come right out and only held by a couple of screws.
