Carver Project boats?

Hi Guys,

First post here and glad I found this forum! I'm a long time fan of Carvers and almost had a 3607 bought last year until my slip was given away(long story). My question--does anyone know where I could find a project Carver Aft cabin in 38'+. I'm in southern Oklahoma, and trying to find an older carver that is on par with what I want has been tough. I am now thinking of looking for a project boat that I can re-do interior, appliances etc. during this winter. I am open to anything out there, in any condition, with motors or without. I've tried google, ebay and other sources but not having any luck. I can't imagine there isn't a derelict Carver sitting in dry dock somewhere. I would prefer something within 500 miles of Oklahoma but that might be asking too much. How about insurance salvage? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Jordan

Same issue here. We just did our 3697 and have been looking for a diesel 42 aft or a Californian in similar condition to the 3697 when we bought it.
Not too much out there other than sunk total wrecks that have no value.
If you run across a larger diesel vessel needing extensive work and cheap, but too big for you, let me know. I'll watch for you as well.

Have you guys looked at "yachtauctions.com" or "yachtsalvage.com"

Some opportunities there...
