Removed the boot stripe last spring. I really like the look. Also did 4 underwater lights. Serviced the thrusters and replaced the trim tabs. 5 hour trip from my marina to get hauled out. Then a 5 plus hour drive to Anchorage for parts. Takes a lot of forethought to be productive.

Those trim Tabs are huge. What change in running with them???

I pick up 2 kts of speed with full bow down trim. I also have 1,000 lbs of sand bags in my bow. I back the trim off if the weather picks up. These 530s mosh through anything if the bow is up in the air.

You mentioned having 2 8Ds for the house bank. Do they hold up pretty well? I don't like my setup. It's too heavy. I have 8 golf cart batteries. It amounts to 1,880 amp hrs. It's a lot of weight to be hauling around that far aft. Thinking of down sizing.

Yes, 2 8D's for house, 2 8D's for each engine, 4 31's for bow thruster and i think a 31 for Gen.
I can't say how well they hold up as the PO replaced all Batteries in April of this year as well as our boating was light this past season. Im really looking at 2019 as the real shakedown season and still have many upgrades to work out.
I'm really liking your Tabs and may look into them as an upgrade.

Copy that. I can run for 24 hrs on inverter without a problem. I would be fine with 12 hours. Not sure what your fridge upstairs draws but the ice makers draw a bit of power. I've got 27s for thruster batteries but they work well. I have the stern thruster also but only use it enough to keep it lubed. I didn't realize my tabs were larger. I just replaced them last April, they are 12 inch by 48 inch. I keep them bow down almost all the time. I dig a hole in the water when taking off without them. She is on plane in short order with them and runs nice and level.

Love the hardtop. Did you have it done or did boat already have it?

Thank you. I had Hardtops Unlimited out of Alabama make it for me. It was not a good experience. The top was 3 months late and the freight up here to Alaska didn't go well at all. The top is great tho. Very well built. I installed it myself.
