Hi All,
Been boating my whole life, family worked on Great Lake Freighters. Love the lake life. Owned 2 Sea Rays -a 29 Sundancer and a 28' SunSport. Both great boats. But we wanted something we could sleep on, not too big, manageable and had always liked Carvers. We found a 2019 C37 (diesels, love the layout for most part etc) that was basically only used to go to a couple boat shows - less than 40 hours on her. Owner was very old and never registered for warranties so we got the engine warranty etc. Day after we bought the boat, Carver went out of business. (our fault - lol) Anyway - will be posting some questions in other topics. Glad to find you guys!!

My first post since joining a few months ago. Purchased a 1986 Riviera28 aft cabin in March of 2021 and have it in covered moorage year-around on Coeur d'alene, Idaho. Both engines have 50 hours, and both carbs are new along with new batteries and new dripless shaft logs. Love the boat. Grandkids love all the inside space. I am getting spoiled using the twin engine controls and I don't think I could ever go back to single engine.
