Howdy from Houston, TX!! I’m a new proud owner of a boat, let alone a Carver boat!! We recently/“accidentally” (long story) purchased/received a 1988 Carver 3807 Aft Cabin twin gas engine. We’ve been using it on the weekends for the last two months. Kids love it! Funny thing is now that we have this 1988 Carver, the owner of the other newer Carver (I was shopping for a 1998 Carver 43 ft) called me up, asking if I would like to buy his 1998 Carver at a discount due to personal issues. I’m torn and am seriously contemplating about trading up? If so, how much should I sell my 1988 Carver 3807 Aft Cabin for? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum......compare boats for sale on Yachtworld to yours, condition etc....remember asking on there is just that, they sell for different amounts many times, sometimes lately even more than ask. Other would be NADA guides......good luck with your adventure.
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

Hello all,
We're new proud owners of a '76 Mariner 3395, twin Ford 351 that's going to receiving some much-needed new love from us. She's been owned by the same gentleman for the last 12 to 15 years who unfortunately just got to a point in life where he could no longer take care of her and she's too much boat for him to handle. We'll be asking (and hopefully able to answer) questions posting progress as we go. The boat original had a genset but at some point was taken out. Does anyone know what brand/model Carver was using in that area, I know they offered a 6.5kw but that's about it. The muffler system is still intact and looks to be in decent shape so I would like to replace it at some point.

Hi Boat Lovers!
We purchased our 1988 Montego 3257 in October 2018. Husband and I have loved the river life for a few years now. We have done some upgrades to our floating cabin and planning a few more this year.
So happy to find this forum!
