We purchased a Mariner 32 for cruising on lake conroe. The family loves it. How to remove the old princess seaward 1988 microwave is a great mystery.

Welcome aboard!

I have no experience with a 3297, but I do with 3 other Carvers.

Generally speaking, the thing may be held in with screws driven in from the side in adjacent cabinets, from underneath, or above. On my 3697, the range must come out to get to the screws.

I think my 4207 was fastened from the bottom.

Maybe that helps?
Thanks
Fred

Working on boats in general is a pain. When I purchased my 3007 Aft Cabin last August I knew that I would have to replace the freshwater system pump. I got an estimate on replacement and they wanted $400 to do the install. I said, I think I will do it myself. After doing the install, it was a pain in the keyster, I know why they wanted $400 for the job.

I hope I never have to do it again. There are some boats easier to work on than others but my Carver falls into the hard to work on category. My last boat a Bayliner 3055 Ciera cruiser was for the most part easily worked on.
