Hey gang! This looks like a great group. I'm on my 2nd Carver, I had a 26' 1981 Monterey and replaced it toward the end of last season with a 1995 Voyager 320. I both fish and cruise from port-to-port on Lake Michigan and am looking forward to learning from and contributing to discussions here.

I know "Trivers" very well.

Did they finish taking down the old factory on the river? That would be a nice place for a large condo development with shops on the main floor. Could liven that town up a bit.

Miss the subs from Fatzo's.

edit: keep it local, buy a pair of Kahlenberg D2 horns, chrome I had them on my 4207. People notice them babies! Especially when the button is pressed.

You really do know TR!

The old Hamilton factory and her signature smokestack are memories and the City is debating what to do with the property.

I had a set of D2s from when I briefly worked at Kahlenberg as a kid! I sold them on EBay like a fool a few years back thinking I'd never get around to using them. I wish I still had them.

Fatzo's subs are a fantastic use of $6! What brought you here? Did you stop for fuel and a beer or did you tie up for a few days?

I worked in Manitowoc for a while.

Lived out by the Llama farm. I had all sorts of "friends" out there. Turkey season, I'd have 20 of those friends in my yard. Deer season, they would be hanging around back. It just kill the hunters I worked with when I brought pix of them right there outside my kitchen window or back door!

At one time, as a side deal, I was consulting with a developer that wanted to build some condos with slips across the way from the Hamilton factory. But the the economy tanked and they dropped the plans.

Wife did not care for Wisconsin so I moved on.
