My "new" 1986 Carver 3227

Postby Remus » April 19th, 2016, 8:02 pm

Hi to everyone,
I just moved near Lake Erie and I bought a Carver 3227 which is perfect for what I need. A little bit of fishing and more on having fun on the water. My previous boat was a Bayliner 175 ,ideal for small lakes. I'm new into boating 32 ft boats and I do not know to much about them. I'm glad that I found this forum for Carver owners. I have a lot of questions to ask but first I'll read the old treads.
Thank you,
Remus

Welcome Aboard Remus. I see you call Newport home. I am located a few miles north of you in Southgate. I too, do most of my boating on either Lake Erie or the Detroit River. I have been as far as the straits of Mackinaw and have spent some time cruising Lake Huron.

Where do you keep your boat? I keep mine in Bolles Harbor (Monroe) at Trouts Yacht Basin. Maybe some day our wakes will cross paths. Good luck with your 3227, hope you have a great season.

Welcome aboard!

I keep my boats in St Joe, where my main residence is, but I also have a place on the water in Trenton, not too far north of you.

If you ever need any help with the boat during the week, send me a note! You are probably only 20 minutes from me.
Thanks
Fred
