New Carver Owner.

Postby footerdog » January 30th, 2017, 7:46 pm

Just made the switch from sailing to motor boating. Purchasing a 2000 Carver 406 with Cummins. Any one care to give the ins and outs of this yacht? Love the layout and the diesels. Are there any problem areas? Thanks in advance and looking forward to being a part of this forum.

The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

Welcome Aboard. Glad to see you have come over to the "dark side" so to speak. Definitely a nice yacht you have there. Hope everything works out well for you.

Unless you had a huge blowboat, the Carver must seem like a palace!

Thanks all. Waiting to get survey done. Hopefully all will be good. As far as a "blowboat" it was a Hunter 41. Loved it but having a 2 year old boy on it was impossible. No diesel fuel bill to deal with. Lol.

Yep, your annual fuel bill will definitely go up a bit. :-O
