New from Ohio

Postby Topcop12 » September 6th, 2017, 12:27 pm

Been out of boating for a long time but just purchased a 1985 Riviera. In good shape with rebuilt engines. Too bad the season only has about 4-6 more weeks here in Ohio.

Welcome to the forum and Carver.......always liked those models, great boats, nice hulls and big for 28, good luck with it.... :beergood:
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

Congrats on the new boat!

A few weeks is all you need to get the list together of what needs to be done before launch next year!!

Welcome Aboard. You have a pretty nice boat there. There is a Rivera docked just behind my 3007 here at my marina. It definitely is a nice looking boat. There may be only a few weeks left in the season but fall boating in this area can be some of the best boating of the season.

I just earlier today took mine out for a ride on the Detroit River around Grosse Ile an island just before where the river empties into Lake Erie. I am planning one more trip to Put in Bay before I put mine away for the winter.

You definitely need to experience Put in Bay. Hope you make it there next year. I boat out of Gibraltar Mi. I am about 40 miles away from PIB.
