Hi everyone - I just got a Carver 405. This will be our first season. Where can we get info on changing the oil?

I forgot to mention, I have a 1997 Carver 405 with Caterpillar engines.

Engine type : in line six cylinder diesel
Manufacturer : Caterpillar
Model/horsepower : 3116 / 300 horse power @2800 RPM

Welcome.
Hopefully you have a jabsco or reverso oil change system for those big cats. If not you have to pull it from the fill tube like most of us have to.

Those engines hold a good amount of oil. I'll second the thought on an oil chnaging system.

Thanks Everyone. I finally got the boat launched and changed the oil. Do I have to change the fuel filter every year? I bought a pair but the wrench for the oil filter was too big.
