Removing 350 Mariner Inside door header

Postby m_robertiello » August 13th, 2018, 2:10 pm

Hi fellow Carver Owners - I have a 2002 Carver 350 Mariner and there is a slight leak coming from the header at the top of the door entry where the entrance light is and I want to remove that header to see where the water is coming from. Does anyone know how to remove that header ? Thanks for the healp.

Welcome to the forum....cant say about the header, but I believe there are two sources for leaks around there, one is the hardtop itself and the other is the seam around the outside top of the door.....good luck man.
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

You can remove the light and look inside with a mirror or camera

The people who design these things probably never ever have to work on them. Boats are not much fun to work on.
